How do you keep the tourist traffic flowing during a 7-year road construction on one of the busiest highways into Yellowstone National Park? The Wyoming Department of Transportation asked CCT to create a campaign touting the innovative road construction techniques they planned to use. Instead, CCT recommended, they re-brand the last 28 miles of the highway The Togwotee Trail to Yellowstone, and create a new destination tourism campaign to drive tourists through the route (instead of the 3 other highways they can take) on their Yellowstone vacation. An integral part of the campaign was an SEO campaign that drove people to this website, which allowed them to plan their Yellowstone/Togwotee Trail vacation. The result? Website traffic is up in the double digits and the amount of time people are spending on the site has doubled.
